Frank Fields and Associates was formed in 1985 in Salt Lake City, Utah as a successor to Francis D. Fields, Consulting formed in 1983. The firm has operated in Powhatan since 1990. Mr. Fields worked seven years for other architects and structural engineers before opening his own architectural practice. For five years he shared an office with a structural engineering firm and prepared structural contract documents on a consultant basis, which gave him a strong background in structural engineering. In addition, Mr. Fields has five years “hands-on” construction experience, primarily commercial & residential remodeling & additions. The firm is particularly noted for the quality of its Construction Contract Documents (working drawings and specifications) which provides accurate, closely-grouped bids; reduces change orders and speeds the construction phase.
Frank Fields and Associates uses ARCOM “MasterSpec” specifications and AutoCAD to produce its Construction Contract Documents. This use of industry-wide methods aids in the accuracy and efficiency of these documents.
