Frank Fields experience with existing buildings began in high school where he worked summers and vacations for Approved Dormers as a laborer and carpenter’s helper.  His passion for this work continued with his architectural work in Salt Lake City, UT;  Park City, UT and Richmond, VA.

 The largest component of the firm’s practice continues to be renovations, restorations, re-modeling, additions and adaptive re-use of existing buildings.  The work includes residential, commercial, institutional and industrial projects.

 It is a joy and an adventure each time we visit these existing buildings for the first time knowing that something new and exciting can be created within this existing framework.
